Pre-Arranged Employee Commercial Visa (9G)
This visa allows the holder to work as a non-immigrant within a period of six months from the date of admission.
PROCESSING TIME: 2-3 MONTHS
VALIDITY: UP TO 3 YEARS
Treaty Trader Visa (9D)
This visa is given to a person who is a national of a country with which the Philippines has in place an agreement for the admission of treaty traders or investors. (Currently only given to nationals from United States, Germany, and Japan.) 
PROCESSING TIME: 2-3 MONTHS
VALIDITY: UP TO 3 YEARS
Special Work Permit (SWP)
The Special Work Permit (SWP) is a work permit intended for short term assignments/employment of up to 6 months. A locally registered company must be willing to serve as the Petitioner. The SWP is good for 3 months during the initial application and extendible for another 3 months. During the course of the SWP validity, the status of the foreign national remains as tourist. Thus, tourist visa extension must be undertaken if necessary.

Provisional Work Permit (PWP)
A Provisional Work Permit (PWP) is issued by the Bureau of Immigration (BI) to foreign nationals who currently hold temporary visitor visas but wish to commence work in the Philippines while the approval of their employment visa application, either the 9G or 9D, is in progress. 
PROCESSING TIME: 10-15 WORKING DAYS
VALIDITY: UP TO 3 MONTHS
Alien Employment Permit (AEP)
This document is issued by the Department of Labor and Employment, authorizing a foreign national to work in the Philippines. This permit is generally issued to foreign nationals who have been long-time working residents in the Philippines. 
PROCESSING TIME: 3-4 WEEKS 
VALIDITY: UP TO 3 YEARS
Temporary Visitor Visa (9A)
Open for 21 days to most nationalities, the tourist visa is generally for short visits. A tourist visa holder may not participate in continuing business in the Philippines; otherwise, he may violate Philippine Immigration Law and will be subject to its rules.

VALIDITY: UP TO 6 MONTHS
Non-Quota Immigrant Visa by Marriage (13a)
This visa is issued to an alien on the basis of his valid marriage to a Philippine citizen.

47(A)(2)
This Special Non-Immigrant Visa is issued to foreign investors registered under companies qualified with BOI, PEZA, or DOJ. This visa is issued by the Secretary of Justice on the basis on public interest or public policy considerations.

VALIDITY: 3 YEARS

The Special Non-Immigrant Multiple Entry Visa is issued pursuant to Book III Article 60 of Executive Order No. 226, as amended by Republic Act No. 8756, to foreign personnel, their respective spouses, and unmarried children under twenty-one (21) years of age, of regional or area headquarters of multinational companies.  The visa shall be valid for a period of three (3) years to enter the Philippines or equivalent with the applicant’s employment contract with the headquarters.
PROCESSING TIME: 4-5 WORKING DAYS
VALIDITY: 6 MONTHS
Special Resident Retiree's Visa (SRRV)
This Special Non-Immigrant Visa is issued to foreign nationals who would like to make the Philippines their second home or investment destination.
SRRV Smile: For active/healthy retirees, who opt to maintain their SRR Visa deposit of US$20,000.00 in any of the PRA Accredited Banks.
SRRV Classic: For active/healthy retirees, who opt to use their SRR Visa deposit into active investment such as the purchase of condominium unit* or long term lease of house & lot.
SRRV Human Touch: For ailing retirees, 35 years old & above, who need/require medical/clinical care. A monthly pension of at least US$1,500.00, a health insurance policy accepted in the Philippines, and an SRR Visa deposit of US$10,000.00 are required.
SRRV Courtesy: For former Filipinos, 35 years old & above. For foreign nationals, 50 years old & above, who are retired officers of International Organizations recognized by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA). An SRR Visa deposit of US$1,500.00 is required.
SRRV Expanded Courtesy: For foreign nationals, 50 years old & above, who are retired Armed Force officers of foreign countries with existing military ties and/or agreement with the Philippine Government. A monthly pension of at least US$1,000.00 and an SRR Visa deposit of US$1,500.00 are required. The SRR Visa deposit includes the principal applicant and 2 dependents. Additional dependent, entails additional SRR Visa deposit of US$15,000 each (except for former Filipinos). CHILDREN must be legitimate or legally adopted by the Principal Retiree, unmarried and below 21 years old upon joining the program.
